Strategies to Assess & Mitigate Unstable Patient Behavior
Webinar date: January 5, 2023

People don’t seek care for a symptom. People seek care when a symptom becomes a concern. When the symptom is particularly unsettling, people may think magically: “the specialist is my only hope.” Guiding people to a collaborative, active, practical approach to health is no easy task. That is a relationship threatening moment. This places the emphasis in specialty care on healthy relationships. Specialists and care teams can enter encounters with the mindset “soothe, not solve.” There are several useful communication strategies that specialists can master one-by-one to decrease stress in their day and help them enjoy even the most cranky patient.

Marketing, Social Media, & The Physician Practice: Legal Implications
Webinar date: August 11, 2022
Presented by:
Tatiana Melnik, Attorney

Remember when “marketing” was limited to newspaper or magazine ads, television commercials and billboards? All those options required significant lead time and multiple proofs before the ads were deployed.

Today’s technology allows us (and others!) to post or upload images, videos, messages, and slogans to multiple platforms with a click and limited safeguards to proof the content in advance. Often individual physicians maintain an online presence outside of the practice’s approved marketing plan. Providers and employees generate posts without practice approval or input to include responding to negative online reviews. Practices utilize text messaging as a communication and marketing tool without understanding the legal obligations of doing so. How can a physician’s practice protect itself while still leveraging today’s technology?

Join us as seasoned healthcare attorney Tatiana Melnik explores the unique legal implications for medical practices as they navigate modern marketing platforms. She will outline potential risks and offer practical guidance to mitigate them.

Using Thermal Imaging to Increase COVID-19 Compliance & Confidence
Webinar Date: August 6, 2020
Presented by: Key Distribution Partners, LLC

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced businesses, medical practices, and institutions to implement various measures to promote the safety and confidence of their employees, customers, and patients. A key component of these protective measures is monitoring the temperature and adherence to mask wearing policies for any individuals that enter the premises. Enforcement of these procedures however can lead to increased costs and potential exposure of other employees.

Our guest speakers from Key Distribution Partners and CCTV Agent, Inc., explore what technologies are coming to the market to execute and document enforcement of these procedures in a more efficient manner.

During the program, our panel of speakers review low risk, contact free thermal imaging technology that is currently available and discuss how businesses are using this technology to drive adherence and confidence.
