*Please note: Registration for medical students, candidate, and fellows is free before July 1st. Beginning July 1st, registration for students, candidates, and residents is $100. Any cancellations after July 3, 2024, will incur a $50 cancellation fee. A $50 surcharge will apply to all registrations effective July 30, 2024. |
The 2024 Annual Meeting will be held at The Sanctuary in Kiawah Island, South Carolina:
Kiawah Island Golf Resort, One Sanctuary Beach Drive, Kiawah Island, SC 29455 Upon registering for the 2024 Annual Meeting, you will receive an email titled "SCOA Housing Instructions & Registration Confirmation" with housing instructions to book using our group rate. Meeting registration is required to receive the booking ID, which will be required to book in our group block. |

EXPERT TALKS
Practicing orthopaedic surgeons are invited to submit a talk on clinical or business topics for presentation at the Annual Meeting. Our goal is to offer a platform for colleagues to share expertise that may not be documented in formal research.

Notice: Reporting of MOC Credit
Many specialty Boards will allow their diplomates to self-report the credit earned. However, the DCMA is required to report the MOC credit claimed for the following boards using the diplomate’s Board ID # and Date of Birth (month and day): Anesthesiology, Pathology, Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery. This information must be supplied accurately on the evaluation form to ensure credit can be reported.
The DCMA is unable to report MOC credit claimed for the following boards that no longer offer self-reporting at this time: Internal Medicine, Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery, and Pediatrics.
By claiming the MOC credit on the Evaluation form, you are giving the DCMA permission to use this information/data to report your participation to these Boards via the ACCME Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS).
ABA MOC Recognition Statement
This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements.
ABPath MOC Recognition Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, earns credit toward the Lifelong Learning requirements for the American Board of Pathology’s (ABPath) Continuing Certification program – Lifelong Learning (CME).
